Read Aloud Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

How it works:

• When you select text, the extension uses your browser's built-in text-to-speech (speechSynthesis) to read it aloud.
• Your voice preferences (English voice, Urdu voice, speed, volume) are saved locally on your device using chrome.storage.
• No text you select, no audio generated, and no browsing history is sent to any server.

Permissions explained:

• activeTab, scripting, host permissions: to show the player and highlight on pages you choose.
• storage: to remember your settings.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or remote code.
